About Alcoholism Rehab Costs

What do you get for your money?

The ‘problem’ with celebrities, sports stars and other well-known people being in the newspapers due to them entering Rehab, is that non-famous alcoholics often assume you have to be a millionaire to afford Rehab Treatment.

Not so.
You don’t have to be well-to-do to get well
Functioning alcoholics (educated and financially secure professionals) across the country might not earn the colossal sums of the rich and famous, but that doesn’t mean seeking expert help for alcohol abuse is not an option for them.

OK, Rehab treatment (available at Rehab Clinics in Surrey, Hampshire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Scotland, and at other locations across the UK) is not cheap; but prices for treatment programmes are pitched at levels functioning alcoholics could realistically afford.

Whether you opt for Intervention Assistance, Outpatient Treatment Services, Day Patient Care, Full Residential Care, or Extended Residential Care (trained professionals will advise on the most suitable option for you), you’ll be under the care of clinicians whose priority will be to help you beat your addiction (and yes, alcoholism is an addiction, even if you dislike it being described so!) – not to become wealthy on the back of other peoples’ problems.

Of course, in the Alcoholism Rehab field there are unscrupulous individuals whose sole motivation is financial gain, but at Rehab Treatment UK we don’t ‘do’ exploitation; all our Clinics are strictly regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and we never place a patient inappropriately based on cost.

Some FAQs regarding cost
What are the ranges of fees for different Rehab programmes?
This can range from £1,000 to over £5,000 per week, depending upon the type of Private Clinic chosen.

What does the fee include?
Prices are usually inclusive of all Consultant and Therapist fees and medication. The exact fee for treatment will depend upon: a) the type of programme deemed most suited to you, and b) the length of time spent at the Clinic (this will be established at your FREE initial assessment).

What about accommodation?
The fee you pay will also cover your accommodation, which may be a shared or single occupancy bedroom.

What about food?
All meals, which are freshly prepared daily, are included in the price. Good nutrition is an important part of Rehab. At your chosen Clinic you’ll have a choice of healthy food options (for both meat eaters and vegetarians).

Is self-catering an option?
At some Clinics, but not all. Contact your chosen Clinic to confirm this.

Can I get help with the overall costs?
Private insurance may cover you for your Rehab fees, or at least a portion of the costs involved. Contact your insurer first to check your level of cover.

Do I have to pay anything up front?
Private Rehab Clinics will require a deposit prior to admission, the value of which will vary with the treatment options agreed. You’ll then need to settle the balance before commencement of your treatment.

I could not stop drinking, having tried various methods. After making contact with Rehab Treatment UK I was put at ease immediately. All my options were carefully explained and 2 days later admitted to Rehab. Without the speedy response I would probably still be drinking today, Already, the home is a happier place. Thank you Jane for starting the process for a life of sobriety.
